Charleroi, 12 September 2019 – On Wednesday 11 September, the airline Wizz Air launched its new direct flights to Georgia. Brussels South Charleroi Airport is now connected to Kutaisi, the country’s second biggest city, via two flights a week. Thanks to 180-seater Airbus A320s, there will be flights between the two countries on Wednesdays and Sundays.

With the launch of the new Brussels-Charleroi – Kutaisi route, another country is now available for passengers. A four and a half hour flight away from BSCA, Kutaisi opens a door to a multifaceted country. The region’s natural heritage has plenty to offer young and old alike. A visit to the Cave of Prometheus is a must, as are the region’s stunning canyons.

Just over two hours away from Kutaisi, travellers will also be able to stroll along the gorgeous beaches alongside the Black Sea.
