Parking procedure

Any journalist leaving Brussels South Charleroi Airport, for professional reasons, can benefit from the free P1 parking, for a period of 48 hours. After this period, the remaining amount will be borne by the journalist.

In order to benefit from this discount, the journalist is required to inform Brussels South Charleroi Airport Communication Department of his departure by sending an e-mail to the following address: All requests must be made at least 7 days before departure, working days only.

In the email, it is necessary to mention the following information so that the request can be processed;

Departure flight:

  • Date
  • Flight number
  • Destination
  • Time of departure

Return flight:

  • Date
  • Flight number
  • City of origin
  • Arrival time in Charleroi

Once the message containing the above information has been received, a communication officer from Brussels South Charleroi Airport will inform the journalist of the follow-up of the request. He will then receive confirmation that a nominative envelope is available at the Airport Information Desk.

On the day of departure, the journalist will park his vehicle in the P1 parking. Afterwards, he will go to the information desk, located in the centre of Terminal 1, where an agent will give him the envelope upon presentation of the press card.

The journalist will therefore benefit from free parking in the P1 parking for a period of 48 hours. Any excess time will be charged to the journalist.

All requests must be made at least 7 days before departure departure (working days only) so that the envelope can be delivered to the Information Desk. If this deadline is not respected, no ticket will be given to the journalist.
