Charleroi, 11 May 2022 – Brussels South Airport this day published its statistics for the month of April 2022.

After a two-year health crisis, Brussels South Charleroi Airport is today in an upward recovery phase, April being the best month of the year up until now.

The current results are auspicious for the long May weekends as well as for the coming summer holidays.

New destinations

The airline TUI Fly is starting its links to Oran and Algiers this week after more than a two-year absence flying to Algeria.

From the start of April Ryanair opened 9 additional routes for this summer’s schedule.

Vitoria, Minorca, Santiago de Compostela, Castellon (Spain), Brive (France), Catania (Italy), Funchal (Portugal), Kaunas (Lithuania) and Liverpool (United Kingdom).

These new destinations are in addition to the direct flights proposed by the airline leaving Brussels South Charleroi Airport.

Two new routes will also be operational for the end of the year, Rovaniemi (Finland) on the 30 October and Klagenfurt (Austria) on the 2 November.
