Launch of the new route to Béziers Cap d’Agde: The first passengers have jetted off to the south

Charleroi, 2 April 2019 – Tuesday 2 April 2019 marks the launch of a new route to the South of France. Today, the first plane to Béziers Cap D’Agde took off from the tarmac of Brussels South Charleroi Airport. The 2019 high season starts with a boost to the routes available in the South of France. This summer, 16 French towns will be available from Brussels-Charleroi. There are now three flights a week connecting Béziers Cap D’Agde to BSCA, with prices starting at €14.99.

With flights to Béziers Cap d’Agde from Brussels South Charleroi Airport, airline Ryanair consolidates its destinations in France. This summer, flights to Béziers Cap d’Agde, in a 189-seat Boeing 737-800, will be departing on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The airline Ryanair has also recently announced that it will be continuing its Brussels Charleroi – Béziers Cap D’Agde route for the 2019-2020 winter season, again with three flights a week.

Patrick LAMBRECHTS, acting Chief Executive Officer of Brussels South Charleroi Airport, announces: « We are starting this high season with a new route to the South of France. And it won’t be the last for the 2019 summer season. Indeed, Wizz Air will also be launching Kutaisi on 4 August 2019. We are continuing to diversify in winter as well, with the introduction of the Brussels Charleroi – Tel Aviv line, run by Ryanair (starting on 28/10/2019). Lastly, Laudamotion, an Austrian airline, will be the ninth company active on our tarmac, as of 27 October. »
