Brussels South Charleroi Airport launches the second edition of its call for projects to support regional associations active in sport, culture and youth support.
CHARLEROI, 07 january 2025 – As a responsible player, Brussels South Charleroi Airport wished to strengthen its commitment alongside regional organisations supporting the values specific to the airport. Last June, it launched a call for projects based on 5 strategic pillars: sustainable development, health, youth support, culture and sport. For this second edition, the last three pillars have been selected.
At the start of 2025, Brussels South Charleroi Airport has once again chosen to support organisations working in its region, in line with its value: commitment. Following a promising first edition, which provided financial support for concrete actions at regional level in favour of sustainable development, health and youth support, the airport is launching a new edition under the banner of youth support, sport and culture. BSCA wishes to join forces with societal players who have projects that will be identified by a jury based on objective and transparent criteria as being the most representative of its values.
Just like last year, associations and organisations in the region of Charleroi are invited to submit their applications by post or e-mail before February 28th. The projects proposed for 2025 must be based on one of the 3 strategic pillars selected this year: sport, culture or youth support. A pre-selection will be organised on the basis of admissibility criteria corresponding to the sustainable development objectives of the UNITAR certification. The selected projects will then be presented to the jury. The winners will be announced before summer. They will benefit from financial support for a total of 50,000 euros, divided between the various projects, as well as visibility on our social medias. BSCA is also committed to supporting them in the realisation of their projects.
