National demonstrations on 9 and 12 October: all flights maintained at Brussels South Charleroi Airport

During the national demonstrations on Friday, 9 and Monday, 12 October 2026, Brussels South Charleroi Airport would like to inform passengers that all airport operations will be maintained. All scheduled departing and arriving flights will operate as planned.

However, disruptions may occur on the roads and public transport networks. In particular, the TEC shuttle service between Charleroi-Central railway station and the airport may be severely disrupted.

✈️ If you are travelling on 9 or 12 October, we therefore recommend allowing extra time to reach the airport, in order to anticipate any potential traffic or access difficulties.
