Free press parking tickets: easier and quicker

Any journalist departing from Brussels South Charleroi Airport, for the purposes of their work, can enjoy free parking in the P1 car park for 48 hours. For longer periods, the journalist will have to pay the rest of the amount due.

To benefit from this reduction, journalists are asked to inform the Brussels South Charleroi Airport Communication Department of their departure by sending an email to Any request must be submitted at least 48 hours before your departure, business days only.

The email must include the following information for the request to be processed;

o     o   Date

o                o   Flight number

o                o    Destination

o               o    Departure time

-        Return Flight:

o                  o    Date

o      o    Flight number

o                   o    City travelling from

       o   Arrival time

When we have received the email containing this information, a press officer from Brussels South Charleroi Airport will inform the journalist of the progress of the request. They will then receive confirmation that an envelope with their name on it has been left at the Information Desk.

On the day of departure, the journalist should park their vehicle in the P1 car park. Once they have done this, they should go to the Information Desk in the middle of the terminal, where an agent will give them their envelope on presentation of their press pass.

The journalist will then have free parking in the P1 car park for 48 hours. Each additional hour must be paid for by the journalist.

Any request must be submitted 48 hours before departure (business days only) so that the envelope can be left with the Information Department. If this deadline is not met, no ticket can be given to the journalist.
